Full Moon Fever: A Tom Petty Tribute

A tribute concert devoted to the music of Tom Petty, presented under the title Full Moon Fever at Capital One Hall in Tysons. It is a tribute act, not Petty or the Heartbreakers.

Full Moon Fever pays tribute to Tom Petty, the American rock singer and songwriter who led Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, a band formed in Gainesville, Florida, in 1976. The title refers to Petty's 1989 solo album, co-produced with Jeff Lynne, which yielded the singles "Free Fallin'" and "I Won't Back Down." Petty's wider catalog includes "American Girl," "Refugee" and "Learning to Fly."

This is a tribute, so the performers are Full Moon Fever rather than Petty or the Heartbreakers. The concert takes place at Capital One Hall in Tysons, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who want to hear Petty's songs performed live by a tribute act.
