Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam: The Joint Tour

A joint tour by singer Hamilton Leithauser and multi-instrumentalist Rostam, presented at The Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The two artists share a background in American indie rock.

Hamilton Leithauser is an American rock singer born in 1978, active since 1996. Best known as the vocalist of the New York indie rock band The Walkmen, Leithauser released the album Black Hours in 2014, the first of their albums. Rostam, known as Rostam, is an American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in 1983. A former member of the indie rock band Vampire Weekend, Rostam also belongs to the electro-soul group Discovery, and released the first solo album, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, in 2016.

This joint tour puts the two artists on one bill, pairing Leithauser's rock vocals with Rostam's songwriting and multi-instrumental work. The bill also names Emma Ogier.

The Castro Theatre, located in San Francisco's Castro district, hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow indie rock and songwriter-led pop.
