Mimosas & Motown: Sunday Brunch January 10th Brunch in Anzu at 11:30 AM / Show at 12:45 PM

A brunch and show in San Francisco that pairs a meal at Anzu with live R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, presented at Feinstein's at The Nikko, with a Motown theme.

Mimosas & Motown is a brunch-and-show program built around Motown, the Detroit label that Berry Gordy founded in 1959. The music draws on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, so the repertoire connects the Motown tradition with the related styles listed for the program.

The afternoon begins with brunch in Anzu, and the show follows. Mimosas, the sparkling wine and orange juice cocktail named in the title, are part of the meal, which makes the format a combination of a midday meal and live music rather than a stand-alone concert.

Feinstein's at The Nikko hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco, and this program suits guests who want a meal and a live performance in one outing. The program is presented on a Sunday, a schedule that fits a late-morning meal followed by an afternoon show.
