Muir Woods and Sausalito Tour Plus Bay Cruise

A day trip that combines a visit to Muir Woods and the village of Sausalito with a one-hour narrated cruise on San Francisco Bay, passing Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The outing is built around three stops. The route crosses the Golden Gate Bridge to reach Muir Woods, a national monument in the Bay Area, and then continues to Sausalito, a village on the Marin County side of the bay.

The day also includes a narrated cruise of one hour on San Francisco Bay. The boat sails alongside Alcatraz and passes under the Golden Gate Bridge, so both landmarks can be seen from the water. The commentary covers the route as the boat moves across the bay.

It suits visitors passing through San Francisco who want to see a national monument, a waterfront village and the bay in a single day without planning the route themselves. The trip is based in San Francisco.
