Napa and Sonoma Premium Small Group Wine Tour from San Francisco

A full-day small group trip from San Francisco that combines skyline and bridge viewpoints with winery visits in Napa and Sonoma. Participants choose their own lunch in Sonoma Plaza.

This day trip links San Francisco viewpoints with wine tasting in the Napa and Sonoma valleys. Groups are capped at 12 people, so it suits both wine enthusiasts and visitors seeing the region for the first time. The route starts with a stop on Treasure Island, where the city skyline makes a popular photo spot, and continues to the Battery Spencer overlook for a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The main tasting takes place at Artesa Winery, an estate with a contemporary building that received the 2018 AIA Architecture Award. In Sonoma Plaza, you can explore the historic square and choose your lunch, either at a restaurant with Michelin stars or with a picnic on the plaza's benches. An optional tasting at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards features California grape wines and olive oil.

The day alternates sightseeing, photo stops and tastings across three areas: San Francisco, Napa and Sonoma. It requires no prior wine knowledge, and the mix of stops suits travelers who want a structured overview of the region in one day.
