Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco

A full-day excursion from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, built around valley viewpoints and a short walk among giant sequoias. It is run by a guide in a small group.

This day trip leaves from San Francisco and drives you to Yosemite National Park. A guide travels with the group and narrates the route, which is planned around Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan and Yosemite Falls. The stops let you take in the valley's best-known landmarks in a single day, without committing to a long trail.

The itinerary includes a walk of about one mile into a grove of giant sequoias. That walk depends on weather conditions, and it is not advised for visitors with health concerns, so those with physical limitations should weigh it before booking. Travelers who want to see the park's major sights without planning the drive themselves will find the route straightforward.

Transport is by van, and each van carries up to 15 passengers. The small group size allows more stops, with less time spent loading and unloading. The trip suits visitors passing through San Francisco and anyone who prefers a compact group over a large coach.
