Rocks Off: Rolling Stones Tribute

A Rolling Stones tribute show by the act Rocks Off, presented at Space in Evanston, Illinois. The performers are not the Rolling Stones.

Rocks Off is a tribute act devoted to the Rolling Stones, the British rock band formed in London in 1962 around Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The show pays homage to the band's catalog; it is not performed by the original group. The Stones'songbook runs from rhythm and blues and Chicago blues influences to later records such as Let It Bleed (1969) and Exile on Main St. (1972), and "Satisfaction" (1965) is one of their best-known songs.

The evening suits listeners who follow the Rolling Stones and the rock lineage that connects them to American blues. Space hosts concerts and shows in Evanston, and this program places Rocks Off's tribute repertoire in that venue's calendar.
