Serial Killer Speakeasy - Skokie, IL

An immersive theater outing at THE SKOKIE in Skokie, built around four true-crime stories on Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein, each paired with a themed cocktail.

Serial Killer Speakeasy stages four true-crime stories live, one for each of Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein. The performances are told through the perspectives of the killers themselves, so each case file unfolds as a theatrical scene rather than a lecture on the crimes.

Alongside the stories, guests are served a tasting menu of four cocktails, with one matched to each case file: the Friendly Stranger for Bundy, the Apartment Two One Three for Dahmer, the Killer Clowns for Gacy, and Gein's Cauldron for Gein. The format combines a drink tasting with live performance, and the drinks are part of the program from start to finish.

The outing is aimed at adults interested in true crime and dark chapters of history. It takes place at THE SKOKIE, a venue in Skokie that hosts concerts and shows, and the venue is ADA compliant.
