SiriusXM Octane Presents: Ninth Key

Ninth Key at Saint Vitus

Ninth Key is the collaborative project between platinum-certified songwriter, producer, and artist Joshua Landry (Lø Spirit) and acclaimed hip-hop artist Ekoh. Rooted in the emotional intensity of early-2000s nu metal and alternative rock, the duo reimagines the era's unmistakable energy through a modern lens. Melding massive guitars, cinematic production, vulnerable lyricism, and hip-hop influences into a sound that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably current.

Drawing inspiration from the records that defined a generation, Ninth Key captures the raw emotion, angst, and catharsis that made the genre timeless. Their music bridges the worlds of rock and hip-hop with soaring choruses, hard-hitting verses, and deeply personal storytelling that speaks to listeners navigating identity, loss, mental health, and resilience.

At its core, Ninth Key leverages nostalgia as a reminder to reconnect with what matters most. In a world where algorithms shape identity and self worth, online personas now overshadow authentic human connection. The project challenges listeners and music culture itself to rediscover its roots and remind us of who we are beyond a screen. It's a call to rediscover real relationships, real emotions, and embrace the imperfect moments that make us who we are.
