Steve Lacy: Oh yeah? Tour

Steve Lacy's Oh yeah? Tour brings the singer and multi-instrumentalist's blend of R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae to the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, on this visit to Los Angeles.

Steve Lacy makes music that draws on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, and the project has a long link to Los Angeles. Lacy first came to wider attention as a member of the band The Internet, and later released solo work, including the 2022 album Gemini Rights, which featured the single "Bad Habit." Songwriting, guitar-based arrangements and smooth vocals run through the catalog, so listeners who follow contemporary R&B and funk-leaning songwriting will recognize the sound.

This tour is named after the title Oh yeah? and is presented as a concert on the Hollywood Bowl stage. The Hollywood Bowl is a venue in Hollywood that hosts concerts and shows, and this date is a concert booking within that programming. The night suits anyone interested in Steve Lacy's recordings and in a stage presentation of this mix of genres, from soul and funk to reggae and gospel influences.
