Straight No Chaser: Making Spirits Bright Tour

A holiday concert by Straight No Chaser, the vocal group, on its Making Spirits Bright Tour at The Chicago Theatre in Chicago.

Straight No Chaser is a vocal group formed at Indiana University in 1996. Its music is built on a cappella arrangements, with voices carrying the melody, harmony and rhythm without instruments, and its repertoire spans pop, rock and indie songs. The Making Spirits Bright Tour takes its name from a holiday theme, so the program draws on seasonal material arranged for the group's voices.

The Chicago Theatre hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this stop brings the group's holiday program to that stage during its visit to the city. The evening suits listeners who follow vocal groups, a cappella arrangements and seasonal music, as well as fans of the group's pop, rock and indie arrangements.
