Overview
A tribute concert devoted to the music of the Portland, Oregon indie rock band The Decemberists, performed by the cover act Buzzin' Cousins at Fitzgeralds Nightclub in Berwyn.
The Decemberists are an indie rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2000 around singer and guitarist Colin Meloy. Their narrative, literate songwriting draws on folk storytelling and includes the albums Castaways and Cutouts (2002) and Picaresque (2005), followed by The Crane Wife (2006) and The Hazards of Love (2009), a rock opera.
This evening is a tribute to the Decemberists'repertoire. Buzzin'Cousins is a cover act, not the original band, and the songs are performed by the tribute on stage.
