The Jury Experience - Frankenstein on Trial: The Man Who Defied God: Will Chicago Deliver Justice?

This outing is a courtroom drama built around Frankenstein, presented as a live theater piece at the Edlis Neeson Theater at MCA. Attendees are sworn in as jurors, and the case puts Dr. Victor Frankenstein on trial for the deaths that followed a forbidden experiment. The creature, assembled from human remains, has already been convicted of murder, so the jury must decide whether its creator bears responsibility for what followed.

Over about 60 minutes, the jury follows witness testimony and examines evidence. At key moments, the audience votes, and those choices open different hidden angles of the case, so each performance can unfold differently. The session ends with a verdict of guilty or not guilty, delivered by the jury.
