The Lemonheads: "The Love Chant Tour" in Orlando

The Lemonheads bring their Love Chant Tour to The Abbey in Orlando. The Boston-formed band has built a long catalog of pop, rock and indie songs.

The Lemonheads are an American band formed in Boston in 1986, working across power pop, college rock and punk hardcore. Their first album, Hate Your Friends, came out in 1987. Evan Dando has been the band's longtime frontman and most recognizable presence through its many line-up changes.

Two later records, It's a Shame About Ray (1992) and Come On Feel the Lemonheads (1993), are among the band's best-known releases and show the melodic side of their sound alongside their guitar-driven rock.

This stop on the Love Chant Tour brings the band to The Abbey - Orlando, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the city. The night suits listeners who follow the group from its Boston beginnings through its later albums, as well as those discovering its pop and indie songs for the first time.
