The Lemonheads: The Love Chant Tour

A Los Angeles concert by The Lemonheads on The Love Chant Tour, at Teragram Ballroom. The Boston-formed American band has worked across power pop, college rock and punk hardcore.

The Lemonheads are an American band formed in Boston in 1986. Their sound draws on power pop, college rock and punk hardcore, and their first album, Hate Your Friends, came out in 1987. Evan Dando has been the band's central figure over the years, and the 1992 album It's a Shame About Ray is one of its best-known records.

The Love Chant Tour brings the band to Los Angeles, with the evening covering material from across the group's career. The show suits listeners who follow power pop and indie rock, and those who know the band's late-1980s and early-1990s releases.

Teragram Ballroom hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles, and this stop places the band in a room used for live music throughout the year.
