The Smashing Pumpkins: The Rats In A Cage Tour

The Smashing Pumpkins bring their The Rats In A Cage Tour to the Kia Forum in Inglewood. The band's catalog runs from the 1990s alternative rock records to later work.

The Smashing Pumpkins are an American band formed in Chicago in 1988 by Billy Corgan and James Iha, with D'arcy Wretzky and Jimmy Chamberlin among the early members. Their music sits across pop, rock and indie, and their best-known records include Siamese Dream (1993) and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995), a double album that produced the singles "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" and "1979." "Today" from Siamese Dream and "Tonight, Tonight" from Mellon Collie are among the band's most recognized songs.

This tour, The Smashing Pumpkins: The Rats In A Cage Tour, stops at the Kia Forum, a venue in Inglewood that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow the band's guitar-driven alternative rock from its 1990s records, as well as those who know the group through its later releases.
