Your Pet Painting Experience

A beginner-friendly painting class in San Francisco where participants turn a reference photo of their pet into a hand-painted portrait, guided by an instructor.

This is a two-hour workshop in which each participant paints a personalized portrait of their own pet, working from a photo of the animal. The subject can be a dog, a cat or a feathered companion, and the finished piece is a single painting made from that one image.

Painting supplies and hands-on instruction are included, so the only thing to prepare in advance is a reference photo of your pet, either printed or saved on a digital device. An instructor guides the group through the steps of the painting while you work on your own canvas.

No previous art experience is needed, which makes the class suited to beginners and to anyone who has never held a paintbrush. It is held at YIJUN'S Fine Art Studio San Francisco.
