ANDREA BOCELLI Romanza

Andrea Bocelli performs Romanza, a classical concert led by the Italian tenor at Madison Square Garden in New York. The evening centers on the opera and classical crossover repertoire for which the singer is known.

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor born in Lajatico in 1958. Active since 1992, he released his first album, Il mare calmo della sera, in 1994 on Universal Music Group. His work spans opera and classical crossover, a combination that has shaped his reputation across the classical and popular fields.

The program is titled Romanza, which places the evening under the name of one of the artist's best-known musical directions. The concert is given by Andrea Bocelli himself, and the night is aimed at listeners who follow classical vocal music and the operatic tenor tradition, as well as those drawn to the crossover repertoire.

Madison Square Garden hosts exhibitions and cultural events in New York, and this concert takes place there during this visit to the city. The arena is a large multipurpose venue, and its program ranges from sports to music and shows throughout the year.
