Brennan Wedl

A concert by Brennan Wedl, a Minnesota-raised, Nashville-based songwriter, at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles, with Georgia Maq and MyVeronica on the bill, presented by Sid The Cat and KCRW.

Brennan Wedl is a songwriter raised in Minnesota and based in Nashville. Solo music has been released since 2012, and in 2015 Wedl co-founded the queercore band Dazey & The Scouts, whose unexpected viral success on social media helped set up the next phase of Wedl's career. Solo singles followed in 2024.

The self-titled album is Wedl's debut for the label ANTI and centers on moving past other people's expectations toward being fully oneself. Wedl has described Dazey & The Scouts as a lesson in collaboration, and in songwriting as shared care.

The evening is presented by Sid The Cat and KCRW, with Georgia Maq and MyVeronica also on the bill. Sid The Cat Auditorium, a Los Angeles venue for concerts and shows, hosts the event.
