Theo Katzman

Theo Katzman, an American indie rock musician, presents a solo evening at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles, built around a return to singer-songwriter roots and cassette-era recording.

Theo Katzman is an American indie rock musician born in 1986 in New York. The project started in 2007, and the debut album, Romance Without Finance, was released in 2011. This Los Angeles evening is presented as part of Sid The Cat Presents, with Katzman as the performer.

Katzman performs solo, returning to singer-songwriter roots. The writing draws on a Tascam Portastudio that has been rediscovered, on cassette tapes, and on a midlife perspective, with a focus on masculine vulnerability expressed through rock and roll song. These solo shows form part of a series across the globe.

Sid The Cat Auditorium hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The evening is for listeners drawn to indie rock and singer-songwriter writing.
