Chicago

A concert in Las Vegas by Chicago, the rock band formed in 1967, performing at The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort. The show centers on the group's horn-driven catalog of pop and rock songs.

Chicago is an American rock band formed in Chicago in 1967, and its sound was built around a brass section that set it apart from many of its contemporaries. Founding and longtime members include keyboardist and vocalist Robert Lamm, trombonist James Pankow, and trumpeter Lee Loughnane. The band's best-known songs include "25 or 6 to 4," "Saturday in the Park," and "If You Leave Me Now." Its music moves between rock, pop ballads and jazz-inflected arrangements, which is reflected in the pop, rock and indie tag attached to this show.

This concert brings that catalog to Las Vegas, with the band's singles and album tracks forming the core of the program for listeners who know its radio hits. The Venetian Theatre is located at The Venetian Resort, where it hosts concerts and shows.

The evening suits fans of classic rock with horns and of the band's ballads, as well as listeners who want to hear the songs performed live in the city.
