Chris

Chris, a blues, country and folk act, performs at Fitzgeralds Nightclub in Berwyn, a suburb west of Chicago, with Country Calendar Show on the same bill.

Chris plays blues, country and folk, three styles that share roots in American song. Blues grows from twelve-bar forms and expressive vocal phrasing, country from storytelling lyrics, and folk from melodies handed down through generations of singers.

Country Calendar Show shares the bill, placing a second act alongside Chris on the same night. Both performers work within the roots tradition that these genres share.

Fitzgeralds Nightclub is the Berwyn venue hosting this concert. The club presents concerts and shows, so its programming suits audiences who follow roots-based live music close to Chicago.
