Club27

Club27 is an original rock musical showcase in which favorite songs of earlier years drive a story about loss, addiction, mental health and survival. Dance-driven numbers trace fame, grief, addiction and healing, and the familiar songs are given a fresh stage pulse. The narrative moves from the pressures of fame toward recovery, with each musical number carrying a step of that arc.

The Jaxx Theatre in Los Angeles hosts concerts and shows, and this production is presented there as a world premiere rock showcase, performed in English. Choreography is central to how each number lands, so the dance and the songs work together to convey the emotional weight of the story. Audiences interested in rock-based musical theater with a strong dance component will find the production's combination of recognizable songs and original storytelling at the center of the evening.
