Eres Emo?

Eres Emo? is an electronic music event at House of Blues Las Vegas, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas. Translated from Spanish, the title reads Are You Emo?

Electronic music is built on synthesizers, drum machines, samplers and computer-based production. In concert it is often performed by a DJ or a producer working with live electronic instruments. The genre covers many substyles, from dance-oriented club tracks to more experimental, ambient-leaning sound design.

The title points to emo, a rock style that emerged from the mid-1980s hardcore punk scene in Washington, D.C., where bands such as Rites of Spring and Embrace shaped its early sound. Set against electronic music, the reference gives the event a name that is clearly about a musical identity rather than a generic dance night.

House of Blues Las Vegas is the venue for this event, and it is one of the places in the city where concerts and shows take place. The night is aimed at listeners who follow electronic music and want to hear it in a Las Vegas concert setting.
