Get the Led Out

A tribute concert devoted to the music of Led Zeppelin, performed by the tribute act Get the Led Out at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia.

Get the Led Out is a tribute act devoted to the music of Led Zeppelin, the English rock group formed in London in 1968 by guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant, bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones and drummer John Bonham. The show is a tribute, not a performance by the original band: Bonham died in 1980, and the group disbanded later that year. Led Zeppelin's best-known records include Led Zeppelin IV (1971), with "Stairway to Heaven," and Physical Graffiti (1975), which contains "Kashmir." Their blend of blues-based riffs, heavy rock and folk-tinged acoustic passages shaped hard rock and heavy metal.

The evening centers on the group's songs, so it suits listeners who follow classic rock and the Led Zeppelin catalog. Get the Led Out plays this material on stage as a tribute, and the original members do not appear.

The concert takes place at Capital One Hall in Tysons, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C.
