Ginger Road

Ginger Road is a blues, country and folk act performing in Chicago at Carol's Pub, a venue that hosts concerts and shows.

Ginger Road performs blues, country and folk, three styles that share roots in the American songbook and in acoustic storytelling. Blues traces back to the Mississippi Delta and the recordings of the 1920s and 1930s, country to the Southern string-band tradition, and folk to ballad singing and topical songwriting. Anyone who follows roots music will recognize that lineage in the project.

The concert takes place at Carol's Pub, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, which makes it a direct choice for an evening of live roots music. It suits blues listeners, country fans and folk audiences looking for a concert in the city.
