Iceage

Iceage is a Danish punk rock band from Copenhagen, bringing its raw, guitar-driven sound to Thalia Hall in Chicago for a rock concert.

Iceage is a Danish punk rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2008. The group released its first album, New Brigade, in 2011, and its music stays within the punk rock tradition, built on a raw, abrasive guitar sound that has run through the band's work from the start.

This concert takes place at Thalia Hall, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who follow Danish punk rock and want to see a band from Copenhagen perform in Chicago on this visit, with the band's songs as the focus of the night.

Those new to Iceage can start with New Brigade, the album that introduced the group in 2011, and listen through the band's later releases before the show. Hearing the early material alongside the newer songs gives a clear sense of how the band's punk rock approach has developed since its formation in 2008.
