Insomnium & Amorphis

A Los Angeles concert by the Finnish metal bands Insomnium and Amorphis, with Hinayana also on the bill, at The Regent Theater.

Insomnium is a Finnish melodic death metal band formed in Joensuu in 1997 and signed to Century Media Records. Its debut album, In the Halls of Awaiting, came out in 2002. Amorphis, formed in Helsinki in 1990, works across death-doom, melodic death metal and folk metal. The band is signed to Nuclear Blast, and its first album, The Karelian Isthmus, was released in 1992.

Hinayana is also on the bill. The Regent Theater hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles, and this program suits fans of melodic death metal and heavy rock who want two Finnish bands on one evening. The double bill pairs two groups whose catalogs each span more than two decades, bringing both sets of songs to one stage during this visit to Los Angeles.
