Issued Nights, Vol. 12

A jazz evening in Los Angeles, presented as the twelfth volume of the Issued Nights series and billed under the act's own name. The entry covers the genre and the numbering of this installment.

Issued Nights, Vol. 12 is a jazz event in Los Angeles, billed under the name Issued Nights and numbered as the twelfth volume of that series. Jazz is an American music tradition built on improvisation, swing and blues-derived harmony, and it is often performed by small ensembles of horns, piano, bass and drums.

The volume number shows that eleven earlier installments came before this one, so the evening belongs to an established run rather than a single standalone concert. Anyone who has followed the series will recognize the numbering, and for newcomers the jazz focus is the clearest starting point.
