Joe Policastro

A jazz concert by Joe Policastro at Fitzgeralds Sidebar in Berwyn, a suburb west of Chicago. The evening sits in the Chicago area's live music calendar.

Joe Policastro performs jazz, a style that grew out of American communities in the early twentieth century and rests on improvisation, swing rhythms and blues-based harmony. For listeners who follow the genre, this concert offers a live jazz performance by a single named artist.

The concert takes place at Fitzgeralds Sidebar, a venue in Berwyn, a suburb directly west of Chicago, which hosts concerts and shows. Its programming makes it a practical choice for jazz listeners in the western suburbs who prefer not to travel downtown.

Suited to anyone interested in live jazz, this evening is a straightforward way to hear the music in a suburban setting.
