Kelsey Hart

Kelsey Hart is a music act performing in Chicago at Carol's Pub, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. The project works in the blues, country and folk traditions.

Kelsey Hart works in the blues, country and folk traditions, three genres with shared roots in American song. Blues is built on forms such as the twelve-bar structure and call-and-response phrasing, country on narrative songwriting, and folk on traditional melodies and stories passed from one generation to the next. This concert brings the project to Carol's Pub.

Carol's Pub hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, so the evening is a local club outing for anyone who follows these styles and wants to hear this act in person. The night suits listeners interested in roots music who prefer a live setting to recordings.
