LAYA, presented under the title Lipstick N Leather, is an act working across R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae. Those five styles define the musical identity of the project, which appears on the bill as both Laya and LAYA - Lipstick N Leather, so the two names refer to the same act.

The concert takes place at Cafe Du Nord, a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who want R&B and soul alongside funk, gospel and reggae in one program.

The full title, Lipstick N Leather, is the project's complete designation, while Laya is the shorter form used in the billing.
