Luca Ravenna

Luca Ravenna is an evening of stand-up comedy by the Italian comedian and television screenwriter, presented at the Gramercy Theatre in New York.

This is a stand-up comedy show: Luca Ravenna performs alone on stage, speaking directly to the audience. Ravenna is an Italian comedian who also works as a screenwriter for television, and performs stand-up in Italy. The show is presented in New York, so it offers a chance to see an Italian comedian's material on an American stage.

The format is a single performer with a microphone, relying on timing, observation and direct exchange with the room rather than on sets or a large cast. Those attending should expect a spoken-word evening in which the comedy comes from the performer's own voice and delivery.

The show suits anyone who enjoys stand-up and is comfortable with a comedian working in Italian-influenced humor for an international audience. The Gramercy Theatre hosts concerts and shows in New York, and this performance takes place there.
