Blues, country and folk are often grouped together as American roots music, a lineage tied to rural Southern and Appalachian traditions. Each draws on storytelling and direct, song-centered arrangements. For listeners who follow these styles, the bill offers a direct way into this act's work, with the tour title giving the night its own identity. Listeners new to the act can expect songs grounded in those traditions.
