Movements

Movements is an American post-hardcore, emo and alternative rock band, presented in concert at Terminal 5 in New York. The act's music is built on guitar-driven songs with emotional, melodic vocals.

Movements formed in 2015 in California. The band was signed to Fearless Records after a single show, and soon released the EP "Outgrown Things." It followed with the album "Feel Something" in 2017, which charted on the Billboard 200 and marked its breakthrough in the post-hardcore and emo scene.

The group's sound draws on post-hardcore intensity, emo songwriting and alternative rock, with a focus on melodic, emotionally direct vocals over dense guitar arrangements. Its recordings from the period around "Feel Something" show that approach clearly.

Terminal 5 hosts concerts and shows in New York, and this performance is aimed at listeners who follow post-hardcore, emo and alternative rock, and who know the band's records from the Fearless Records era.
