Palaye Royale

Palaye Royale is an American rock band performing at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn. The concert is a rock show by a group whose sound draws on art rock, garage rock and rock 'n' roll.

Palaye Royale is an American rock band formed in Toronto in 2008. Their music blends art rock, garage rock and rock 'n'roll, a combination that places them between the raw energy of garage music and the more theatrical side of art rock. The band released its debut album, Boom Boom Room (Side A), in 2016, and that record marks the starting point of their recorded catalog.

Brooklyn Steel hosts concerts and shows in Brooklyn, and this evening is a rock concert at that venue. The night suits listeners who follow American rock bands with a strong garage and art rock lineage and want to hear that material performed live.

For anyone choosing between shows on this visit to New York, the appeal lies in seeing a band whose sound mixes genres that are usually kept apart. The program is built around their rock repertoire, which is the core of their recorded work.
