Pivot Gang x Saba

A Chicago rap concert pairing Saba with the Pivot Gang collective, held at Thalia Hall. The bill brings two Chicago rap acts together on one night.

Pivot Gang is a rap collective from Chicago, and Saba is a Chicago rapper closely tied to that circle. Saba's album Care for Me, released in 2018, includes the track Bucktown, and the project's lyrical focus on the city is a common thread across the scene the two acts share.

This is a rap show, and the bill places Saba alongside Pivot Gang, so listeners who follow Chicago hip-hop will find both acts'work in one evening. The pairing keeps the focus on the city's rap scene rather than on a single headliner.

Thalia Hall hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this booking adds a rap event to its calendar. The night suits fans of Chicago hip-hop who want to hear a collective and one of its best-known members on the same bill.
