Pretty Lights - Soundship Space Bus Tour

Pretty Lights brings the Soundship Space Bus Tour to The Fillmore New Orleans for a live electronic music performance.

Pretty Lights is the electronic music project created by Derek Vincent Smith. Active since the mid-2000s, the project gained prominence through releases like Taking Up Your Precious Time and Filling Up the City Skies, blending elements of hip-hop beats, glitch, soul samples, and analog synthesizer sounds. The catalog is built on heavy sample-based production combined with live instrumental improvisation.

On this tour, the performance features a full live band setup alongside the electronic production gear, creating an extended improvisational set that bridges studio tracks and live performance. The music draws on decades of electronic music history while maintaining a distinct modern approach to audio-visual presentation.

The Fillmore New Orleans hosts this stop on the Soundship Space Bus Tour. Located in New Orleans, the venue presents concerts and shows across various genres, offering a dedicated space for touring musical acts.
