R&B ONLY LIVE - Los Angeles, CA

A live concert in Hollywood billed as R&B ONLY LIVE, bringing together R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae at the Hollywood Palladium. It is presented under the names R&B ONLY and Only Live.

R&B ONLY LIVE is a concert billed under the names R&B ONLY and Only Live, bringing together R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae in one evening. The show takes place in Los Angeles, CA, and its styles draw on Black American and Jamaican popular music traditions.

The Hollywood Palladium hosts concerts and shows in Hollywood, the district where this performance takes place. Because the program spans several genres, it suits listeners who want R&B alongside soul, funk, gospel and reggae rather than a single style of music.

Each genre has its own lineage: soul and R&B grew out of gospel traditions, while reggae originated in Jamaica. The evening brings these threads together under one title.
