Tinashe is an American singer, dancer and actress whose music draws on new jack swing and hip-hop. Born in Lexington, the artist released the first album, Aquarius, in 2014, and the work since then has moved between R&B and hip-hop textures.

The show, titled One Night With A Popstar, draws on R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, so the program spans several Black American and Caribbean musical traditions within a single evening. Tinashe's background in dance and acting sits alongside the singing.

The concert takes place at the Hollywood Palladium, which hosts concerts and shows in Hollywood. The night suits listeners who follow contemporary R&B and the genres that feed into it, and anyone interested in an artist who works across music, dance and screen performance.
