Richard Marx

A concert by Richard Marx, the American singer-songwriter behind "Right Here Waiting," with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra at Capital One Hall in Tysons.

Richard Marx is an American singer-songwriter whose pop and rock career began in the late 1980s. Among the best-known songs are "Right Here Waiting," "Hazard" and "Endless Summer Nights," and the catalogue moves between ballads and mid-tempo pop-rock. Marx has also written songs for other artists, which places the project within the songwriting side of the pop industry.

This evening pairs Richard Marx with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, an orchestra based in Fairfax, Virginia. Capital One Hall, in Tysons, hosts concerts and shows, and the venue serves as the setting for this program.

The concert suits listeners who know Marx's radio hits and those who follow symphonic programs, as well as anyone who wants to hear this catalogue in a concert setting with orchestra.
