Shungu live scores Faith in the Unknown

Shungu at 2220 Arts + Archives

2220 Arts welcomes Shungu for a live scoring of Faith in the Unknown, a non-linear film shot between New York and Brussels, shaped through poetry, intuition and the search for meaning within the unknown.

Shungu reshapes the film’s score in real time, joined by Ruqqiyah (on voice), Mejiwahn, Carlos Niño and Lionmilk. Moving between composition and improvisation, the performance treats the film not as something to accompany, but as something to listen and respond to, a dialogue where music passes through image, silence and vibration, opening a space for the unexpected.

Ruqqiyah will also perform an opening set.
