Zsela

Zsela, a singer and songwriter working in pop, rock and indie, performs at 2220 Arts + Archives in Los Angeles, a concert and performance venue. The act has a history with the room.

Zsela is a singer and songwriter whose music sits in pop, rock and indie. Their voice is a deep contralto, and the approach is experimental art pop built on sparse arrangements and slowly developing melodies. The EP Ache of Victory, released in 2020, introduced this sound.

The debut album Big For You came out on Mexican Summer in 2024. Daniel Aged and Gabe Wax produced it, and Marc Ribot, Nick Hakim and Jasper Marsalis contributed to it. In 2026, Zsela released 4 Dreams with Daniel Aged and Taul Katz, a collaboration that moves into ambient and electronic territory. The latest single is "Kinda Guy," and more new music is planned for the rest of the year.

Zsela has performed at 2220 Arts + Archives before, joining guitarist and composer Arto Lindsay for a multi-channel sound installation that sound designer Jacob Johnson mixed live. The venue is a concert and performance space, so the evening suits listeners who want to hear the artist's recorded work and newer releases in a live setting.
