Snakehips is a British house music group formed in 2012, whose music blends electronic music with rhythm and blues. The band is signed to Columbia Records and released its first album, "never worry", in 2023.

The electronic music on the bill comes from that house and R&B crossover, so the evening suits listeners who follow both styles. Academy LA is the Los Angeles venue hosting this concert, and it presents concerts and shows across the city.

For anyone deciding whether to attend, the act's roots in British house and its rhythm and blues influence explain much of what the music sounds like on record.
