Sommer Ray

An electronic music performance by Sommer Ray at Hideaway, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, for listeners interested in live synthesized and programmed sound.

Sommer Ray is an electronic act performing at Hideaway, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows. Electronic music is built on synthesizers, drum machines, samplers and computer-based production, and this performance places Sommer Ray within that tradition for listeners who follow the genre.

The evening suits people who want to hear electronic music performed live in Chicago, rather than through recordings. Electronic performers typically shape synthesized and sampled sounds in real time, which is what distinguishes a live set from a recording. Because this is an electronic act, the sound will center on synthesized and programmed material rather than guitars and drums.
