Steven Feifke & Friends — 10th Album Celebration

A jazz concert by Steven Feifke, presented as a celebration of the tenth album, at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston. The evening is built around the project's recent recording work.

Steven Feifke is a jazz pianist and composer. This evening, titled Steven Feifke & Friends, marks the tenth album, and the program celebrates that release with the Friends in the title, so the music is rooted in the leader's own compositions and recordings. Listeners who follow contemporary jazz piano and small-group writing will find the concert's focus clear from its title.

Scullers Jazz Club, a Boston venue for concerts and shows, hosts this jazz evening. The night suits audiences who want to hear a working jazz artist perform material from a recent album in a club setting, with the artist's collaborators joining the stage for a celebratory program.
