Overview
The James Hunter Six is a British soul and rhythm and blues band fronted by James Hunter, a singer and songwriter whose work draws on the sound of 1950s and 1960s soul records. The project is built on that vintage idiom, with songs rooted in classic soul and R&B rather than contemporary production, and the genre is best described as pop, rock and indie-leaning soul.
The show is part of the Off the Fence Tour, the name under which the band is performing this stop in Los Angeles. The set will be built around the band's soul and R&B repertoire, with James Hunter as the central voice of the project.
