The Tubs

The Tubs, a noise pop band with a five-member line-up, plays a Los Angeles concert at Zebulon, with Touch Girl Apple Blossom also on the bill. The night brings together two acts from the pop, rock and indie scene.

The Tubs is a noise pop band whose sound combines pop melodies with the distorted guitars and textures of indie rock. The band has released two studio albums and two EPs, all on independent labels, and its current line-up has five members.

Touch Girl Apple Blossom also appears on this bill. The show takes place at Zebulon, a Los Angeles venue for concerts and shows, so the evening suits anyone who follows noise pop and indie rock and wants to hear how the band's songs translate to a live stage in the city.

For listeners already familiar with the band's two albums and two EPs, the concert offers a chance to hear that catalog performed live. For newcomers, the night is a practical introduction to a band whose records are built around pop hooks set against a noisy, guitar-based sound.
