The Wildwoods

A concert by The Wildwoods, a trio whose folk-Americana songwriting carries indie touches, at Healing Force of the Universe in Los Angeles.

The Wildwoods are a trio made up of Noah Gose, who sings and plays acoustic and electric guitar, Chloe Gose, who sings and plays violin, and Andrew Vaggalis, a longtime friend who sings and plays upright bass. Noah and Chloe are married.

The band takes the hallmarks of folk-Americana and dresses them in indie sensibilities, with reference points that include Nickel Creek, Gillian Welch, Bon Iver and Mumford & Sons. Dear Meadowlark is their fourth full-length album. In 2023 they were finalists in the FreshGrass Music Festival and VHS "Gems in the Rough" band competitions, and in 2024 they were finalists in the Rocky Mountain Songwriter Contest in Red Lodge, Montana. Their songs "Untitled" and "Way of Train" reached the semifinals of the International Songwriting Competition.

Healing Force of the Universe hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. This evening suits listeners drawn to songwriting that blends folk, Americana and indie rock.
