Tom Djll

A jazz concert by Tom Djll at Peacock Lounge, a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows, with the act's music performed live for listeners who follow the genre.

Tom Djll is a jazz act, and this concert brings its music to the stage at Peacock Lounge in San Francisco. Jazz is built on improvisation over melodies, rhythm and harmony, so a live set shows how the material changes from one performance to the next.

The genre took shape in African American communities in New Orleans around the turn of the twentieth century, and its tradition of group interplay and soloing remains central to live performance.

Peacock Lounge hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco, and this evening is one of its live music nights. The concert suits listeners who follow jazz and want to hear an act perform in person, rather than through recordings alone.
